The view from Dead Horse Point is remarkable, in part because of the sheer detail visible in the distant canyons and rock formations. Those features become even more extraordinary when the far-off canyons are examined more closely. On this particular evening, the sunset produced a soft, diffused light that gently brought out those details, creating a rich, dynamic image of the canyonlands of southeastern Utah. This moment was masterfully captured by southwest photographer Todd Stapleton to preserve, admire and cherish for generations to come.
